About this activity
Meet your guide at 4pm in front of the tourist center and take your time to become familiar with the enchanting streets of historic Rome on this private and exclusive Rome walking tour. You will find it is the best way to become familiar with the beautiful city of Rome while visiting the major architectural highlights and monuments.

Your expert local guide will introduce you to ancient Rome including the Roman Forum, Capitoline Hill, spectacular views of the ruins, Piazza Venezia, newly restored-by-Fendi Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, Column of Marcus Aurelius, Obelisk of Montecitorio, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Castel Sant'Angelo, Via della Conciliazione (Vatican City approach), St. Peter's Square and the outside of Basilica di San Pietro. There are a great many buildings, squares, fountains and monuments to see on your classic Rome walk in between the main highlights. While we don't tour and explain every single place we pass by on our route (there are several hundred!), you are welcome to look inside some of the more famous churches and chapels time permitting.

Your tour ends at approximately 7pm at St. Peter's Square in front of the Basilica di San Pietro.
