About this activity

Ariccia stands over a bowl-shaped valley, the crater of an extinct volcano. The Latins, the ancient inhabitants of southern Latium, believed that the area was a sacred one because of its volcanic landscape and thick woods which surrounded two nearby small circular lake.

Half Day Tour to Ariccia:

Pick up in your Hotel at 4pm and transfer by private car to Ariccia.

The Palazzo Chigi in Ariccia represents a unique example of baroque home remained intact over the centuries, documenting th prestige of one of the greatest italian Papal dynasties: the Chigi. The palace transformed into a baroque residence by Gian Lorenzo Bernini is a museum and the center of many cultural activities: exhibitions, concerts, guided tours, lectures and conferences.
