About this activity
On this 5-hour excursion, you will head out of Rome with a private driver to the wooded hills of Castelli Romani. The name of the area simply refers to a collection of wine-producing hills southeast of Rome. The tour stops at Antico Casale, where you’ll meet the winemaker and then tour the vineyard and cellars.

At the winery, you can learn how the wine is produced. This tour also includes an amazing culinary experience: you will be welcomed by a professional chef who will teach you how to cook traditional Italian pasta. Following your winery tour, you will sit down for a tasting session, sampling 3 varieties of wine that are produced in this region. Each wine is paired with a delicious Italian specialty, such as Roman pizza or Minardi olive oil, as well as in-season fruits and vegetables from the garden
