About this activity
The driver will meet you in the hotel's lobby or at the address indicated by you at 9:00 am to explore the wonders of Rome. The exact tour route may vary, depending on the options you choose.
You can start the tour by visiting one of the most famous places in the city, St. Peter's Basilica. Admire the beauty of this center of Roman Catholicism.
Continue along the Corso Vittorio Emanuele, named in honor of the last king of Italy, to arrive at Piazza Navona (the former Stadium of Domitian). Take in the works of art by Bernini and Borromini on the square, or sample local specialties in the many bars and restaurants. Visit the Pantheon and the Colosseum, from which you will go back in time as you walk towards the Arch of Constantine and Roman Forum.
From there the trip will continue on one of the seven hills where Rome was colonized (the Aventino hill) for a short stop at one of the most interesting places in the city. Next, go to the church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin to see the famous Mouth of Truth.
Moving on to Piazza Venezia, you can reach Piazza Colonna to see the column of Marco Aurelio. Sample Italian ice cream. Stop at the Trevi Fountain to throw your coins into the water as a good omen to return to Rome.
Head for Piazza di Spagna to see the famous staircase, and make one final stop at Piazza del Popolo before returning to your hotel.
Please note: A tour guide and tickets for attractions are not included in the price.
