About this activity
Meet your guide at the MAXXI Museum to begin your walking tour of the Flaminio district.

Begin with the MAXXI Museum itself (Monday-Friday entrance for the permanent collection is free), the Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo or National Museum of the 21st Century Arts. Visit the Rome Auditorium (a multi-functional complex dominated by three 'harmonic cases' by Renzo Piano that seem to fly above a sea of vegetation dedicated to music).

Admire the Ponte della Musica, which crosses the Tiber River connecting the Olympic stadium on the west bank of the Monte Mario with the Quartiere Flaminio for the first time in 1,000 years. It is the first public footbridge to cross the Tiber since Roman times.

The tour will end with a perfect Roman tasting in a typical restaurant of the area.
