About this activity
Start your tour at the Borghese Gallery, divided in two sections: the ground-floor, with its superb sculptures, and the upper floor gallery, with the paintings collection. This “sovereign of all private art collections” houses masterpieces that the Borghese's have amassed in their tasteful summer residence since 1600.

Your tour continues with a pleasant stroll through the delightful Borghese Park. In 1903 the city of Rome introduced Villa Borghese to the public. Stop at the Pincio terrace with its breath-taking view of the city. Walk through the panoramic Pincio promenade, then reach Trinità dei
Monti. From the top, descend the legendary stairs of the Spanish Steps to admire the Fontana della Barcaccia, made by Pietro Bernini.
