About this activity

The Appian Way is a Roman road that has been built up more than 2000 years ago. Riding an electric bicycle along this country road will leave you breathless: the green vegetation blends perfectly with the yellowish-brown soil and fascinating ruins that you'll encounter along the way.

This tour starts in Piazza Navona and passes through the Colosseum and Baths of Caracalla. You'll ride along the Appian Way toward the Tomb of Caecilia Metella, a majestic mausoleum for the nobility. After stopping for a drink or an ice cream, you'll move on to see the Caffarella Park to see Annia Regilla Nymphaeum and enjoy one of the most beautiful parks in Rome. Finally, you'll go back to Piazza Navona riding through the Circus Maximus and the Jewish Ghetto.

This group tour requires a minimum of 2 people.

Please note, if you wish, you can also book an optional tour of the Catacombs of San Callisto (40 minutes, unavailable on Wednesday).
