About this activity

You private English-speaking tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby. A short trip outside the city (from 45 minutes to 1 hour) will take you to a satellite town of St. Petersburg - Pushkin, formerly known as Tsarskoye Selo (or Tsars' Village).

You will take a tour of the Catherine Palace. We guarantee you that among the other things you will walk down the famous Golden Gallery of Rastrelly and visit the legendary "8th Wonder of the World" - the Amber Room.

After a tour of the Catherine Palace you will take a walk in the Catherine gardens around it. See both - French regular and English landscaped part of the gardens, enjoy the colourful flower-beds (in summer) and dramatic colours of the foliage in fall. Winter time brings fairy-tale snow-and-frost compositions with it.

After the Catherine Palace & Amber Room tour you will have a chance to shop for Amber at the gallery that belongs to the restorers of the Amber Room and return back to your hotel.
