About this activity
During the Soviet Union time, Saint Petersburg was renamed into Leningrad. The government tried to create a new image of the city. Modern architecture, lifestyle, streetlife - everything was dedicated to destroy the "bourgeoisie" and build a new progressive society.
Walking along the streets you'll see hidden traces of censorship, retro cars, and communist flats.
Retro Leningrad Walk includes all the main city sights and visits to iconic retro places like Pushkinskaya 10 Art Center, Eliseevy Merchants’ Shop and the "USSR" cafe.
This tour is a great chance to see Saint Petersburg in two different ages - the Imperial and the Soviet ones.
Local private guides will help you find unconventional, non-tourist places that create an unforgettable retro image of Leningrad.
