Visit the most spectacular summer palace in Russia. The Catherine Palace is a historical and compositional center of the palace-and-park ensemble. It is a remarkable edifice in the Russian Baroque style, with richly decorated interiors including the world-famous Amber Room, which was restored by the Tercentenary of St. Petersburg in 2003.

If there are no tickets to the Catherine Palace, the tour operator can replace the Catherine Palace with Pavlovsk Palace.

Day 2: Hermitage museum, Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood and the Peter and Paul Fortress

It has more than 3 000 000 items in the collection and someone counted that if you spend only 1 min viewing each item displayed, you will still need about 3 years. The Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood is one of the main sights of Saint Petersburg. Its interior is unique and is made of 7500 meters squared of mosaics. This church was built on the site where Emperor Alexander II was fatally wounded by political nihilists in March 1881. The church was built between 1883 and 1907. The construction was funded by the imperial family.
