Passing the old baroque city of Salzburg and crossing the German border, the tour takes you straight into the Alps to our first stop the Obersalzberg. From there you will change into reserved special busses taking you on a most spectacular 6.5 km long single lane road blasted out of solid rock with a 22% gradient up to the Eagle's Nest, 1.820 meters. To reach Hitler’s former residence you enter a 124 meters long tunnel into the mountain where a golden brass elevator will take you another 124 meters up into the building itself. Your private guide will tour with you the historical building including the famous fireplace room. Get all the inside information and anecdotes about Hitler’s legendary tea house.
