About this activity
D1.Trek Barra de Parismina to Laguna Perlas: Boat ride of about 20 minutes. Walk 4.5km and arrive a Laguna Perlas to take the boat.

Trek to Reserva Pacuare accompanied by a biologist. Or boat (Julio Knight): After lunch cross the canal and walk with guide from Reserva Pacuare to 2 ½ hours. 

D2.Barra de Pacuare to Muelle Goschen a Pacuare Lodge or Pacuare Outdoor Center: Birding tour. After breakfast be ready to take a 40minute boat ride on the canals to Muelle Goschen where a car will pick you to enjoy a rafting day or a trek.

Trek Walk Pacayitas to El Silencio: You will be taken to a small archeological site on a private farm

Trek La Suiza to (El Copal): You will walk a coffee field and cane fields and cross over the river Pejibaye to your lunch destination. After lunch we will transfer you to El Copal for your overnight stay and your next birding tour.

D5.

Trek Taus to National Park Tapanti: bird tour and then breakfast and finally leave El Copal and walk on a gravel road. After lunch you will then take a steep descent, with views of the beautiful Orosi valley, until you reach the entrance of PN Tapanti

D6.

Trek Muñeco de Navarro to Palo Verde del Guarco This is a trek in a forest preserve!: walk righ out of the hotel for your day’s hike. Cross over the small stream and across the soccer field of Muñeco de Navarro. Start your trek through the forest preserve to Palo Verde. 

D7.

Trek Jardin de Dota to San Pablo de Leon Cortes: Leave early from Verdesana Lodge. You will be driven to Jardin de Dota where you will start your trek. You will walk to Finca El Casquillo where you will have lunch and learn about medicinal plants.

D8.T

rek From Naranjillo to Esquipulas: You will driven past the Dota Coffee fields and past Napoles and Naranjillo to walk down to the Pacific Ocean. You will be picked up by the two 4x4 just before Esquipulas hopefully around. In Villa Nueva at about 15km you can visit Villa Vainilla. Walk 1 more km for lunch at Coqui’s among the palm oil trees and forget all the healthy eating habits.

Trek Palma Tica roads to Quepos Letters: Walk the last 3km through Palma Tica for your triumphal entrance into Quepos to take your first glance at the Pacific Ocean

D.9. Manuel Antonio to San Jose: Come back to your hotel in San José.
