San José to Arenal Day Tour: Hanging Bridges + Hot Springs

Take a day trip to the Arenal region and participate in some of the best nature activities in the area. The Arenal hanging bridges at Mistico Park are a great way to explore the rainforest. You'll walk across hanging suspension bridges with a nature guide, who will tell you all about the natural history of Costa Rica and point out different species of birds and other rainforest creatures along the way. After the tour you will have an opportunity to relax and enjoy a delicious lunch in a local restaurant. Next, head to one of the area's best natural hot springs and soak in the geothermally-heated waters. These pools are of a variety of different temperatures and beautifully decorated with lush gardens and man-made waterfalls. Dinner is also included and can be enjoyed at the hot springs restaurant after your soak in the hot springs. The La Fortuna area has been proclaimed to have the largest hot water aquifer in the world and this is a great opportunity to soak up the healing powers of these natural springs. Just after nightfall, our driver will pick you up from the hot springs lobby area and you will travel back to San Jose as you sit back and think about all of the serious fun you had in Arenal.
