Lourdes Sanctuary tour- Catholic pilgrimage sanctuary

We will start from San Sebastian early in the morning. We will head to Lourdes driving on the highway. The drive is about 2 hours long. We will travel in a private van.

Highlights at Lourdes

Lourdes sanctuary; the church and the cave; the church built in the 19th century stands above the cave in which the virgin appeared. This cave is a holy place and people gather there to pray. It is an idyllic place next to the river Pau.

Viacrucis; It is a representation of the Calvary of Christ on a real scale. The hyperrealistic reperesentation scene by scene gives you an idea of the suffering of Jesus. It is located on a hill next to the sanctuary. From above the views are fantastic.

Bernadet´s crypt; Here are the remains of bernadette along with those of many other people. It is a very beautiful chapel of intimate character in which people pray with fervor.
