SSI Open Water Diver Course in Tenerife

The PADI Open Water Diver Course, is a course that is run over three days. Included in the price are your learning materials either a manual or digital manual as well as equipment hire and insurance for the dive course. On day one of the course you will start by learning equipment set up before heading to the swimming pool to start your confined water sessions. There are five confined water sessions in total covering all of the requires skills to complete the course.

In between sessions you will work on your theory and watch the Open Water DVD as well as completed the stamina assessments a 200 meter swim and a 10 minute float. Day one is a full day starting at 08:30 am. On day two of the course you will complete two open water dives either from the boat or from the shore. On the two dives you will complete some of the skills in open water that you completed in the confined sessions on day one. After this you will have a tour of the dive site so that you can have fun exploring the underwater world. Day two is a half day practical session and then we follow up to complete the theory if necessary after the dives.

On day three you will complete the final two open water dives again completing the skills from the confined sessions in the sea and having your last 2 dives of the course. After this you will have to complete multiple choice exam en get finally your certification!
