About this activity

An underwater scooter, or diver propulsion vehicle, can make your dives more funny and confortable, even more exciting by gently propelling you through the water. Using the underwater scooter will help you to cover larger distances in the ocean with less effort.

It’s also a great piece of gear for cave and wreck diving, allowing you to explore more places. Underwater scooters can help you consume less air by pulling you through the water rather than having to swim.

After meeting your instructor at the dive center, you will receive a theoretical explanation about how to use the DPV. After that, you will go to the diving spots where you will enjoy two fantastic and funny dives, will discover the fascinating marine life of Tenerife, as well as the impressive volcanic formations. This activitie is for very small groups, maximun 3 divers per instructor.

Minimum age is 12 year
Diving certification is required, minumum Open Water Diver.
Diving insurance is required, if do not have, it is possible to contract one at the Dive Center.
Diving within 48 hours before flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
