About this activity

Taking a day out of you sightseeing in Athens for a journey to Meteora is a must.

Catch the bus from the Syntagma square at 08:00am and admire the beauty of the countryside along the way. (For private trip bookings we will pick you up from your hotel's entrance).

At around 12:30 we will arrive in Kalabaka a small town built at the foot of majestic grey rocky cliffs, that are crowned by the monasteries of Meteora which have been listed by unesco as world Heritage Site.

When you arrive at Kalabaka our English speaking driver will take you to the monasteries where you will have about 4 hours to be guided around the both of them.

At the end of the day our driver will take you back to Kalabaka, and you will have some time to explore the town and enjoy your lunch (not included in the tour price).

At 19:00 we will depart from Kalabaka, arriving to Athens at 23:00.
