About this activity
Itinerary

A narrated beer crawl, with spicy stories from Seattle's history, and the history of beer. Drinks are included.

We'll go to 3 local breweries in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle - some of the best urban microbreweries in Seattle, on a leisurely 2.5-hour walking brewery crawl. The breweries are: Stoup, Reuben's, and Obec.

You can taste up to 9 different beers in total, included in the price of the tour. At each location, you will get a choice of either a flight of 3 tasters (4 oz per taster - therefore 12 oz of beer), or a 16-oz pint beer. All breweries have beautiful outdoor beer gardens, and food trucks with delicious local and global cuisine.

Stoup Brewing, our meeting place, puts a lot of emphasis on craftsmanship and has many award-winning beers. They have great hefeweizens, pilsners, IPAs, a delicious marzen, a red ale, and a strong porter.

Reuben's has the largest variety of ales. Besides the many IPAs and pilsners, they have a coriander gose, a caramel-chocolate porter, a doppelbock, and ciders!

Obec focuses on European-style beers (although they have IPAs as well). They have a delicious nut brown ale, a granat (Czech amber), stouts, English ales, and rye ales.
