Stop At: Pioneer Square, Yesler Street & 1st Avenue, Seattle, WA 98104

We will walk, take photos, and take in the beauty of the Pioneer Square neighborhood, while guests will hear fascinating stories of the rough, early days of Seattle: murder, mayhem, betrayal, corruption, administrative incompetence, prostitution, gambling and suicide, at each location.

You'll hear about the beautiful architecture left behind. Tour guides will teach guests about the rich history of the beautiful Pioneer Square, and show them off-the-beaten-path places in the neighborhood. It will be a leisurely walk through the streets of the neighborhood for about an hour and 45 minutes, with about 15 stops (one to two blocks apart, between the stops), and we’ll have short (approximately 5-minute long), interactive and fascinating stories at each stop. We encourage questions and comments from participants, to make the tour interactive. The distance is less than half a mile (with many stops in between).
