About this activity
Warning: this trip is not for the uninitiated. All participants must be capable swimmers in good physical condition. This is not a beginner trip; please exercise caution and when in doubt choose an easier trip like the Sauk or Skagit. Participants are required to be in wetsuits; you can bring one or rent one (it is included in the price on Viator). Participants are required to watch a 10 minute safety video and sign an online liability waiver. No participants are allowed under the age of 14. All participants between the ages of 14-17 must have previous class 3, or above, whitewater experience. Participants 18 and over must be capable swimmers and be able to participate in a rescue if needed.
Trip Itinerary Example; 8:30am trip. 
8:30am: meet with your guides/introductions at Big Eddy State Park
8:35am: get suited up in your wetsuits
8:45am: get your PFD, Helmet, and Paddles
9:00am: load into the bus to go upriver to the put in at Cable Drop River Access Point
9:15am: arrive at the put in and exit the bus
9:20am: participate in extensive safety orientation, paddle talk, and rescue scenario
9:50am: begin paddling down the river
11:50am: arrive at Big Eddy State Park where your vehicle awaits
12:00pm: shake hands with your guides and hand back your equipment
12:05pm: have a nice day!
