Ganghwa peace observatory
- is an observatory constructed in the northern area of the Civilian Restricted Zone.

Hwamunseok Culture Center
- Ganghwa Hwamunseok, Korea's only rush-weaving handicraft, is a cultural legacy inherited from Goryeo (the ancient Korean state) period, and is a product that is exclusively produced in Ganghwa-gun.

UNESCO Dolmen
- ‘Dolmens’ are stone graves/tombs which date back to the pre-historic era.

Ganghwa Anglican Cathedral
- A cathedral of the Anglican Church's Diocese of Seoul, opened on November 15, 1900

Gwangseongbo fortress
- The fortress was built in 1656. It was completely remodeled into a masonry castle with gates in 1745. During Sinmiyangyo (the American invasion in 1871), Gwangseongbo was the fiercest battle ground in Ganghwa. 

Dongmak Beach
- The beach of the island has a bow-like shape, and when the tide ebbs, a vast foreshore appears with all kinds of sea animals such as clams, crabs, trumpet shells, corb shells and more, making the island an excellent spot for children

Manisan Mountain
- Manisan Mountain is located at the center of the Korean Peninsula, southwest of Ganghwa-do, and in between Hallsan Mountain and Baekdusan Mountain.
