About this activity

You will be picked up from your hotel in Seoul between 8am to 9am. You will enjoy your comfortable mini-van ride to each attraction with a very informative professional tour guide. Your first destination is Jogye Temple. The beautiful lotus lanterns are hanging on the ceiling that contain lots of people’s wishes and prayers.

The King of the Joseon Dynasty used to stay at the main palace called the Gyeongbok Palace and at its main entrance is Gwanghwamun. There used to be guards protect the main entrance like the securities in front of the presidential Blue House. Take a slow walk around the royal palace, and listen to your guide's commentary about the history behind each building in the royal palace.

at Insadong, you will drop by Korean style restaurant where you will be able to make your own Gimbap, one of the most famous Korean lunch dishes. It's often described as a Korean-style California Roll. You can put anything you want in your roll, including veggies and pickled radish, even sliced ham if you prefer. Try the Gimbap that you made with some soup and side dishes served.

Then appreciate picturesque scenery of Seoul at Bukchon Hanok Village. You will get the most beautiful snapshots at the designated photo zone at Bukchon Village that include very distinctive but also impressive contrast of Seoul's old and new.

Finally at Namdaemun Market, try some street food such as hotteok and, skewered fish cake, and Gimbap etc. You will marvel at how lively Koreans live and how many items there are in the Namdaemun Market
