About this activity
Have the chance to make your own coloured handkerchief or scarf with a guided Korean traditional fabric dyeing workshop (also known as 'Jjok' in Korean)

Using traditional Korean techniques, you’ll create your own one-of-a-kind fabric from a selection of natural plant dyes. You’ll be guided by professional teachers to create a fabric that is not only unique in style, but also feels softer on the skin due to the ingredients extracted from nature. Whether you choose to crumple the fabric by hand or tie it up with a rubber band, you are sure to be mesmerized by the special and unpredictable rainbow pattern created as a result of your work. The finished effect is the Korean version of tie dyeing, made into a beautiful scarf or unique handkerchief. Fun for the whole family, come experience how locals have produced hand-dyed material for generations!
