About this activity
After morning pickup by minivan from your hotel, travel with your guide to the south side of the Han River to Noryangjin Fish Market. Inside the orderly but sprawling fish farmer’s market, stroll past rows and rows of seafood piled high in open boxes and crates. Learn about the market’s history since it opened in 1927, and discover which kinds of fish are commonly used in Korean cuisine.

Spend an hour at the market, and then walk to a nearby street lined with a variety of eateries. Your guide provides dining recommendations (own expense) based on your preference.

Enjoy a leisurely lunch and then continue to Yeouido Hangang (Han River) Park. The Yeouido district of the park is an island that bisects the city of Seoul. With much of the city’s media, politics, banking and finance businesses located on Yeouido, you’ll see many people in suits taking breaks here from their hectic day, and folks strolling along the pedestrian and bike lanes that flank the river.

Join the locals with a 2-hour easygoing bike ride. At a bike shop, receive a safety briefing and get fitted with a bicycle and helmet. Following your guide's lead, take in landscapes of high-rises that compete with the surrounding mountains, as well as ferries cruising the river. You might catch a concert or, if you visit in the spring, the Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival. Enjoy some free time to absorb the peaceful scenery by bike on your own.

After you return your gear, your tour ends with minivan transport back to your hotel.
