Located on the South Korean side of the 38th Parallel, on top of Dorasan (Mount Dora), the Dora Observatory looks across the Demilitarized Zone and is the part of South Korea closest to the North. Catch a rare glimpse of the reclusive state through binoculars from the 304-square-foot, 500-person capacity building.

Stop At: The Third Tunnel, Nosang-ri, Jangdan-myeon, Paju, Gyeonggi-do 10800 South Korea

Explore the massive tunnel dug by North Korea as part of their plan to invade South Korea if war had erupted and the tunnel had not been discovered in 1978. It spans over 1,635 meters and is 2 meters wide and 2 meters tall. It has been estimated that around 30,000 soldiers could move through the tunnel per hour if needed.
