About this activity
At 09:00 our guide will meet you at your hotel lobby in Shanghai city area and then start the one day tour with Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. With “city, human, environment, development” as the theme, the exhibition hall presents the city’s past and future from various aspects. The next stop will be Yuyuan Garden which was built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

After lunch in a local restaurant, you will take a walk in Yuyuan Market, a bustling place were you will meet some century-old restaurants, interesting souvenirs, and many authentic local snacks. Then you will pay a visit to a Nanjing Road. After the relaxing walking you will head to Xintiandi, a great place for leisure and amusement where you will meet rows of shops and bars transformed from Shikumen houses. At last you will wander in the Bund to appreciate beauty of this area and then board a ship to have a Huangpu River cruise, you will pass by the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance. They are symbols of Shanghai’s past.

After the tour, you will be escorted back to hotel around 17:00.
