Stop At: The Bund (Wai Tan), Zhongshan East 1st Road, Shanghai China

Meet your private guide at your central Shanghai hotel or Shanghai port/cruise terminal at 7:30am/ 8:00am/ 9am.(depends on your schedule.)

First site is the bund--the colonial-era promenade along the Huangpu River. Admire the stunning views of old and new Shanghai, including buildings such as the Old Customs House in the west and iconic skyscrapers like the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai Financial Tower, and Shanghai Tower in the east.

Then visit Silk Museum, it provides an opportunity to learn about how silk has been produced and used throughout the centuries, dating as far back as 2000 BC.

Next to one of Shanghai’s most active temples: Jade Buddha Temple. Admire its two exquisite Jade Buddha statues from Myanmar and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere as you hear about local Buddhist culture and history.

Later attend to Jade center to learn the history of jade and 11 virtues of jade by Confucius saying.
