About this activity
Feel shaken and stirred by the dramatic scenery of Phang Nga Bay Island in the Andaman Sea on this 10-hour scenic coach and boat tour, and explore the cinematic backdrop to the 1974 James Bond movie “The Man With The Golden Gun.”

Follow in the footsteps of 007 and discover one of nature’s most unusual locations, just 45 miles (75 kilometers) northeast of Phuket. You will travel by air-conditioned coach through dazzling scenery, staring at the dramatic limestone mountains of Panak Island and Hong Island off the coast.

Approach Koh Tapu, now fondly known as “James Bond Island,” and continue by boat through the mangroves to visit silent caves, many with strange-shaped limestone rock formations. Gaze at the cliff faces that rise majestically out from the sea and are draped with rich tropical vegetation.

An afternoon lunch will be served at Koh Panyi (also known as “Sea Gypsy Island”), notably built over the water on stilts by Indonesian fishermen, providing some of the most breathtaking views in Thailand.
