Phang Nga Cave Canoe Trip from Phuket

Depart your hotel at midday for an afternoon of sea cave (hong) exploration in Phang Nga Bay. After the journey from Phuket, motoring to the bay 
takes about an hour. Start with a safety briefing and a light snack lunch before setting off by canoe to your first cave. 

In transit, you'll pass a couple dozen boats on their return to Phuket. Paddling past sheer limestone cliffs in the late afternoon, experience the tranquil ambiance of the caves without the morning crowds.

Spend time exploring at least four different cave systems and listen as your guide describes their formation. Discover any wildlife inhabiting the bay and learn about the unique ecosystem. If there's time and the weather allows, have free time to swim and paddle around independently.

Continue on to a special sunset viewing spot at day's end. Then, as daylight disappears, return to a cave you visited earlier in the afternoon. Once darkness falls, you'll experience some memorable moments in the hush within the cavern, made more dramatic under starlight.

Re-boarding the main vessel, enjoy a Thai seafood buffet dinner served underway. For dessert, retreat to the moon deck where your guide compares constellations and their legends until you arrive at the dock and return to your hotel in Phuket.
