Walk around the statue for more trivias like "Weekdays" Buddha, 12 Chinese animals zodiac Buddhas, and pay homage to the "Future Buddha" (Matreya).

Dhammikarama Burmese Temple, built in 1803, is the sole and oldest Burmese Buddhist temple in Penang. The temple is situated directly across Thai Temple Wat Chaiyamangkalaram. See the great marbled Standing Buddha. Walk around it to see what are the Buddhist nations. At the back of the temple, count the number of animal's parts that make up the magical animal called Panca Rupa. Throw a few coins for good luck at the "Wheel of Life" fountain.

See the former house built by a Chinese Captain, Mr. Chung Keng Kwee, called the Pinang Peranakan Mansion.
