About this activity
Explore the history of the tiny nation of Singapore - referred to lovingly as the Little Red Dot.

We start your adventure by hopping on-board a traditional bumboat, a humble mode of water transportation that has operated both to ferry goods and people across Singapore River for decades. We cruise down the river to Merlion Park, home to a magnificent statue and water fountain shaped as the mythical creature. Take in beautiful views of Marina Bay waterfront and snap a few photos at the iconic statue before heading down to the Civic District.

Wander through boulevards around the Civic district lined with historic buildings before continuing down Orchard Road, a chic shopping avenue that’s the beating heart of Singapore’s glitzy commercial center.

Finally, head to the nearby National Orchid Garden to relax and spend time here exploring the garden’s 60,000 plants and orchids and keep an eye out for the country’s national flower, Vanda Miss Joaquim, before heading back to the return transport to the Singapore cruise terminal.
