Scented stories of Singapore: Tour of Orchid Garden

1 day
About this activity
Now a UNESCO heritage site, National Orchid Garden was established only for one task: to evaluate cultivation crops of economic importance. This is the place where Mr Ridley, or “Mad Ridley” found out ways to grow rubber plants in Asia. As a result Malaysia is today the world’s largest producer of rubber.

Today its known for it’s house-grown Orchid-hybrid-library, most recent addition to which are ‘Vanda Kwa Geok Choo’ and ‘Aranda Lee Kuan Yew’ to honour ‘Father of the Nation’.

Experience this and more with smells. As you walk in the park, we take you back in time with smells of the past, present and future. Why do we do this? because smells create and bring back the best memories.

When you are back in your country and you smell an orchid, your beautiful Singapore memories will come flooding back. We can also help you in creating your Signature-scent on site. (Please let us know if you would like to add that Option.) Wouldn't this be the best way to capture the moment in your mind.
