The museum is open from 10.00am - 7.00pm daily.

Walk through the nautical world in the Maritime Experiential Museum and discover how ancient and historical trading ships were constructed and sailed. Learn about how renowned seafarers employ their strategic and tactic sea navigation skills across the Maritime Silk Route. Experience how to navigate an old sailing vessel at the lower deck.

Other notable attractions include a collection of artifacts salvaged from the Bakau shipwreck off the coast of Belitung Island, a recreation of an Arab souk, a historic ship harbor with full-scale replicas of five historic vessels, and the multi-sensory, 4D Typhoon Theatre where visitors board a virtual ship bound for Arabia and encounter a breathtaking storm. Typhoon Theatre is located inside the museum and the shows take place every 20 minutes.
