About this activity
Upon pick-up and boarding an air-conditioned vehicle, your private guide will share a chronological narrative and provide a good overview of Singapore’s colourful and rich history from the 14th century till today.

Begin with a visit at the Singapore River with the gleaming skyscrapers of the financial district. Walk around the People of the River statue series as your guide helps bring history to life.

Discover some of the most rare and valuable artworks at Wak Hai Cheng Bio. The name of this Taoist temple translates as Calm Sea Temple, which serves as a reminder that this area was once lapped by waves.

Continue to Club Street and Ann Siang Hill, the off-the -beaten-path part of Chinatown. Hear stories about Chinese businessmen who meet here for business and the traditional clan associations that existed here. If time permits, you may even enter one of the clan associations and chat with their members.

When you arrive at Maxwell Food Centre, there will be some free time to try the local food (at own expense).

Drive up to Mt. Faber where your guide regale tales of our nation's natural heritage at the highest point in the park. Witness scenes of local historical events from a bronze mural wall.

Your tour concludes with an exhilarating end at the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, and you'll get to enjoy stunning views over the city from our favourite spot.
