Your day starts at the stunning Fjallsarlon Glacier Lagoon where the wonders of floating ice bergs await you. Enjoy a magical boat ride on the lagoon and explore all that this phenomenal place has to offer before heading towards Skaftafell National Park where you will meet your certified glacier guide for a glacier hiking adventure on Falljokull Glacier. The drive from Fjallsarlon to Skaftafell will take you approximately 40 minutes. Falljokull is one of the glacier tongues of Europe´s biggest glacier, Vatnajokull. After a short hike through the glacier valley, you will enter the Falljökull's icy surface. Your guide will then lead you around the glacier's crevasses and glacier mills towards the ice fall. The shining blue color and tremendous size of the glacier must be experienced first hand. After a glacier filled adventure day you will return back to Skaftafell National Park.
