Private Full-Day Tour to Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius from Sorrento

Beginning with your morning hotel pickup, you'll depart from Sorrento and enjoy the scenic ride in either a private car or minivan along the Sorrentine peninsula towards Pompeii. Upon arrival, here you'll explore the ruins of this ancient city, walking the streets, seeing the remains of the baths, bakeries, arena, where the ancient Romans lived and worked.

After free time for lunch, you’ll head to Mount Vesuvius and climb to the summit traveling through soft volcanic ash and pumice. After this 20-minute walk, from the parking area, you’ll reach the summit of Mt Vesuvius where you’ll experience stunning views of the crater, seeing steam escaping from its active vents, and panoramic views of the Bay of Naples.

After your visit to Mt Vesuvius, you’ll continue the scenic drive back to Sorrento, returning to your hotel between 4:00pm and 5:00pm.
