A Comfortable private car will Pick you up from your hotel and departure for Pompeii will commence.

In two hours, a local licensed tour guide will reveal to you the secrets of this beautiful ancient Roman city situated at the foot of Mt Vesuvius volcano. Pompeii was destroyed and covered by a rain of lapilli (small stones produced during a volcanic eruption) during the eruption of the 79 BC.

You will visit splendid villas, theatres, imperial forum, temples, thermal baths, the famous Abundance Street, wonderful frescoes testifying the splendor of the time.

At about 1:30 pm you will start your transfer back from Pompeii to your hotel in Sorrento and enjoy the afternoon as you please or arrange on the spot an optional nice lunch stop at a local vesuvian winery - restaurant.
