Wine Routes of Dalmatian hinterland and the deepest lake in Europe
(Imotski, the Red Lake and the Blue Lake)
13:00 h - Departure from Split (meeting point -our office) and we will arrive in Imotski at around 14:30h, where you will see and explore the Red and Blue Lake, one of the deepest lakes in Europe. Then we will visit Topana, a 10th century fortress which was then an important center in this Croatian region.
15:30 - Sightseeing of the old town of Imotski where you will have free time to explore the biggest city in the Dalmatian hinterland.
16:00h - Then we will visit the Grabovac winery, where you will be introduced to different technologies of wine production by wine producers. Wine tasting with a cold appetizer, and a tour of the vineyard known as the Wolf Valley - a unique example of a vineyard on meliorated rubble.
18:00 h - Departure to Split.
Included in package price:
• Transportation by bus, van or by personal vehicle of the highest class
• Wine tasting in Imotski with a cold appetizer (4 types of wines, with ham, cheese, sausages and homemade bread), tasting of sparkling wine (methodechampenoise) with seasonal fruit or cake
