About this activity
Visit: National Blues Museum, 615 Washington Ave, Saint Louis, MO 63101-1207

Having just opened in April 2016, the National Blues Museum is located in the new MX (Mercantile Exchange) district in downtown St. Louis. It is just a few blocks from the iconic Gateway Arch. The museum is easily accessible by foot or by public transportation. The museum is dedicated to exploring the musical history and impact of the blues.

Museum-goers can experience the fun process of creating music. Begin by creating a stage name, writing songs, playing instruments, recording music, and then playing, saving, and sharing your files on social media. When you come back for your second visit, add more layers to your previously created song!
