Visit National Taiwan Museum, the oldest museums in Taiwan, and see its historical architecture and exhibitions. The museum is located in central Taipei with convenient access by MRT train and its building was established in 1908 during Japanese rule. Over the past 40 years, National Taiwan Museum has documented the history of Taiwan and offers a glimpse of Taiwan's evolution by featuring various areas of exhibitions - anthropology, earth sciences, zoology, botany and education.

The museum opens from Tuesday to Sunday 9:30 am-5 pm, closed on Mondays. It's 10 mins walk from Taipei Station. If you travel by MRT train, take the Tamshui-Xinyi Line (Red Line) to NTU Hospital Station (Exit 4) or take the Bannan Line (Blue Line) to Taipei Railway Station (Exit 5).
