Aeolian Island Cruise to Panarea + Stromboli

1 day
About this activity
Suggestive mini cruise to explore two of the most famous Aeolian Islands, UNESCO world heritage site since 2000: the elegant Panarea and the volcanic Stromboli. The island of Panarea is very famous for its fine architecture and the attendance of the international jet-set, and Stromboli, the island of a characteristic conical shape, is dominated by a perpetually active volcano. We depart by bus with our tour leader to the port of Milazzo and proceeding on board a private-owned motorboat towards Panarea. Visit from the sea of the Calajunco Bay and the small Zimmari Beach. Leisure time ashore to visit a typical village, or to enjoy the beach and have lunch at a local restaurant (extra). Back on board again we sail around the rocks in front of Panarea. and head via motorboat to Stromboli for a tour of the island until sunset. Return on board and visit from the sea of the "Sciara del Fuoco" (blackened lava), with its spectacular explosions weather permitting. We return in the late evening after sunset and arrive back to Taormina around midnight.
