Next stop will be Ortigia with the ruins of the earliest Greek constructions. Among them, the most important one is the Cathedral of Syracuse which rises on the highest point of the small Island of Ortigia. A very important and famous spot of Ortigia is the Arethusa Fountain, situated on a wide terrace overlooking the sea and where the papyrus plants grow.

Next stop is Noto, where you will visit the ancient baroque town center, one of the most important in Sicily, with beautiful buildings, Churches and the magnificent Cathedral.

Known as the Capital of the Baroque: in 2002 its historic center was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, along with the Val di Noto.
