In the morning departure from Tbilisi. Cycling starts from village Akhaltsikhe castle ruins (through old Kartli region 50 km west from Tbilisi). Route goes up stream of Tedzami river. After crossing little narrow wooden bridge you’ll pass picturesque Drisi Castle hanging from above.

Further on, by crossing the river through the canyon you’re entering Algeti national park that is located at Tetritskaro district. (1.100 -1.950 m) above the sea level.

After Crossing one more water stream you’ll appear at Rkoni village where route follows trail towards ancient Rkoni monastery complex (VII century) and old stone bridge.

During the centuries complex was renovated and changed several times and nowadays it attracts visitors with wild nature and beautiful location.

On the way back route follows different path: ascending to low Green mountain pass (1030m).

From the highest point of cross one can find beautiful view on river Mtkvari gorge and in good weather even high range of Great Caucasus.

Afterwards descending to gathering point where is the ending point of cycling tour.

All the way to and back from Rkoni complex old temples and ruins of fortifications accompanies the cyclers.

Note: Off-road cycling requires a good level of health conditions. Most of the trip vehicles will be available according to guests wishes. This itinerary may be changed depending on the weather conditions, and physical ability.
