Private day trip to Tbilisi National park - Sabaduri forest

The National park of Tbilisi is about 1 hour driving time from the city. On the way to it you will pass the Tbilsi water reservoir, so called Tbilisian Sea and the impressive monument Chronicles of Georgia, also known as the Stonehenge of Tbilisi.
Soon after that the landscapes will change as you drive up to the Saguramo mountain range at an altitude of 1800m. For about 1,5 hours you can enjoy the road through the forest and the panoramic view over the Caucasian mountains. There are several places for a picnick that you can use during the warm season.
After you reach the Sioni lake, you take a turn to the Kakheti highway, which will take you to the ancient Ujarma fort, once a capital of Iveria kingdom. From here it´s only about 45 minutes till Tbilisi.

If you chose the option with Gudauri transfer the driving time will be about 4-5 hours.
