Museum Beelden aan Zee: Skip The Line

Variable
Skip The Line
About this activity
Skip the line, climb on a fairy tale whale, and observe the bloom of modern sculpture in the Netherlands at Museum Beelden aan Zee in the Hague. Founded in 1994 by two sculpture collectors, Theo and Lida Scholten, this is the only Dutch museum specializing in sculpture.
Wander the halls, patios, terraces and the boulevard and feast your eyes on the weird and wonderful sculpture collection at the Hague's Museum Beelden aan Zee.
Enjoy works with the theme of the human figure by contemporary sculpture artists around the world. See portraits, self-portraits and floating heads.
Climb on 23 fairy tale group sculptures by the sculptor Tom Otterness (1952) on a huge outdoor terrace, including a man-eating whale and others from Hansel and Gretel, Pinocchio, Gulliver and more.
A walk through this museum is a walk along the timeline of modern Western sculpture, and the sea breeze isn't bad either.
