Horseback riding in south Albania

Itinerary

Day 1: Tirana - Permet

Stop At: Benja Thermal Baths, Near The Stonebridge, Permet Albania
Meeting with the local guide in Tirana and departure to Permet. After 1,5 hours of drive, local lunch and a short break in a local restaurant. After about 2 hours drive accommodation in a guest house in Permet. Visit of the thermal sprint of Benja and traditional dinner.

Day 2: Permet - Lengarica Canyons

Stop At: Kanioni i Lengarices, Rruga e Benjes, Albania
Breakfast. Transportation close to the Lengarica Canyon and getting ready to start horseback riding. In Shqeria region we will ride into ancient trails on the edge of Lengarica Canyon, we will visit the stone bridge, the waterfall of Mixhaj. We will enjoy a delicious local lunch. About 4 hours riding. Return in Permet and enjoy a traditional dinner.

Day 3: Permet - Bredhi i Hotoves

Stop At: Fir of Hotova National Park, Rruga e Benjes, Permet 6401 Albania
Breakfast. Horseback riding to the national park of Bredhi i Hotoves. We will visit the church of Shen Jani, pass old stone bridges and see the shepherds farms. We will enjoy a typical lunch in a guest house. Return to Permet and free evening.

Day 4: Permet - Gjirokastra - Tirana

Stop At: Gjirokaster Castle, Gjirokaster Albania
Breakfast and visit of the beautiful UNESCO protected site of Gjirokastra. Local lunch and return to Tirana International Airport. Time to say goodbye.
