《Special experience》To be a member of carrying portable shrine in Chiba

Itinerary

You can experience decorating the portable shrine with local people before departure and then dress up yourself to the festival costume. And you can join the whole the ceremony of carrying the portable shrine to the Tsurigasaki holy beach and return to the shrine. You can watch carrying portable shrines at festivals whole of Japan but carrying experience is really rare so this is the very special experience. The distance between the shrine and beach is 7km round trip.

9:00 Meeting at VISIT ICHINOMIYA tourist station (in SUZUMINE, 5 mins walk from JR Kazusa Ichinomiya station)
10:00 Decorating the portable shrine experience
12:00 Lunch and dressing up yourself
13:20 Departing from the shrine
15:00 Arriving at the beach
18:00 Returning to the town and having party
20:00 Arriving at the shrine and finish the experience

*There is festival eve party with local people on September 12, you can also join it if you want. *Accommodation is available to arrange.
