About this activity
Home to hundreds of marine and aquatic animals, Sunshine Aquarium is an immersive and interactive exploration of life under the sea. Located on the top floor of Sunshine City's World Import Mart Building in Ikebukuro, a visit to this modern aquarium makes an educational and entertaining respite from sightseeing and shopping.

Sunshine Aquarium consists of two floors housing indoor tanks and an outdoor extension aptly called the Marine Garden. Exhibits include the Sunshine Lagoon, a tank that holds 240 tons of water; the Jellyfish Tunnel; and the Sunshine Aqua Ring for views of sea lions, penguins and other animals from below. Rare specimens include giant manta rays, huge sunfish and deep-water spider crabs, and there are non-marine animals like anteaters, snails, iguanas, flamingos, and a lemur.

Sunshine Aquarium is part of Sunshine City, an entertainment complex offering multiple attractions, restaurant and entertainment.
