Tokyo Calligraphy Experience

At 9am, make your way to the designated meeting point. From there your guide will take you to the traditional Japanese room in which the calligraphy lesson is held.
Your teacher is a calligraphy expert, well respected in the Japanese traditional culture scene, who also teaches in junior-high and high schools in Japan.
Under the careful guidance of your teacher, try your hand at using genuine Japanese tools; writing brushes of various materials and ink stone made from Japanese precious stones. Using a genuine sumi, an ink stone, write your favorite kanji character and your name on a square piece of paper.
Your other option is to make a Japanese seal out of a stone. As it is made from stone, it lasts a lifetime. It can be used as a signature in Japan; sealing your work means you've have completed and accept responsibility for its contents. You can also use it for sealing wax, so that you can uniquely personalize your letters.
When you have finished your calligraphy lesson, bid your teacher farewell and take your leave with a unique souvenir to bring home.
