Visit Tromsø Villmarkssenter and become friends with our 300 Alaskan huskies!
We are a family-run dog sledding kennel, founded 30 years ago by the renowned dog sled racer Tove Sørensen. On a guided tour of our center, we will tell you everything about dog sled racing, breeding and animal welfare. Our dogs are not just cute and cuddly, they are also professional athletes! Our racing teams have competed numerous times in some of the world’s most extreme dog races – you can follow their journey through Finnmarksløpet in our movie.
You will of course also have plenty of time to get to know and pet our dogs. The visit to the puppy enclosure is a special highlight for big and small! Coffee and a piece of home-made chocolate cake complete a perfect afternoon.
